【代表メッセージ】新年のごあいさつを申し上げます

新年おめでとうございます。ハッピー・ニュー・イヤー

この時期に言うべきこととして、私たちは皆これを口にします。
しかし、本当にハッピーで幸せな年になると信じているでしょうか。
それとも、今年もは昨年のような失望を味わうことになるのではと心配しているのでしょうか。

新型コロナウイルスが出現してからすでに3年が経過し、新年を迎えるにあたり、皆さんは将来に不安を抱いているかもしれません。

公衆衛生の問題だけでなく、自分の健康や経済、家族や職場の人間関係など、個人的な生活についても、何か不安ごとがあるのではないでしょうか。
聖書には、神様に希望を持つようにと書かれています。聖書の神は希望の神であることを理解することが大切です。私たちが祈りや思いを通して、あらゆる心配事や悩み、問題を打ち明けることを神（イエス・キリスト）が期待しておられます。

これを通して、すべての問題が一度に消えることはないかもしれませんが、私たちは次の日、次の年を迎えるための希望を得ることができます。
私たちは、日常生活で直面するあらゆる問題に対処するための知恵を、神に求めることができるのです。

これを読んでいる皆さんは、私たちの創造主であり、私たちを大切に思ってくださる「生ける神」に希望を託してみてはいかがでしょうか。
聖書には、神は私たち一人ひとりの頭髪の本数を知っておられると書かれています。世界には80億人の人々がいると最近発表されていますが、神様が管理しなければならない人の髪の毛の数は膨大です。
しかし、神様は私たちの想像をはるかに超える、大きな存在ですので、小さな自分のこともよくご存知で、愛してくださっています。

私たちオペレーション・ブレッシング・ジャパンは、希望を持って今年を迎えています。
神様は私たちに知恵を与えてくださり、私たちの大切なパートナーの方々の助けを通して、この希望のメッセージを伝え、さまざまなプログラムを通して、困っている多くの人々に実際的な支援を提供することができるのです。

今年どんな困難が待ち受けていようとも、希望を持って新年を迎え、幸せな一年にしようではありませんか。

Happy New Year!

We all say this as this is the appropriate thing to say at this time ofthe year.
But do we really believe it is going to be a happy year, orare we worried that maybe this year is going to have all thedisappointments of the last year?

With the Corona Virus still a subject on my people’s minds, and with already three years passing since it first appeared, you maybe having some doubt about the future as you enter this new year.
Besides just the public health issue, maybe you have issues in your own personal life related to your own health, finances,relationships in your family and at work that your are worried about.

The Bible talks about having hope in God. The important thing is that we need to realize that the God of the Bible is a God of hope.
God expects us to reach out to Him through prayer, and our thoughts, with all our worries, concerns, and problems.

All our problems may not disappear at once, but we can gain hope to see another day, another year.
We can ask God for wisdom to deal with all the challenges that we may face in our daily lives.

I would like to encourage all who are reading this to focus your hope on the “Living God” who is our Creator, and the one who cares for us.
The Bible says that God knows the number of hairs we have on our head. With 8 billion people in the world, that’s a lot of people’s hair to keep count of! But God is much bigger and greater than we can imagine, and he cares and loves each one of us.

We at Operation Blessing Japan are approaching this year with hope.
We know that there will be challenges ahead, but we know we can rely on God to provide us with the wisdom, and through the help of our precious partners we can share this message of hope,and provide support in practical ways to many people in need.

So, let’s go into this New Year with hope, and make it a happy one,despite what challenges may lay in front of us.
