Bridging divided communities
Minamisoma City in Fukushima Prefecture was hit by three disasters; the huge earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear accident. At that time, the evacuation orders issued to Fukushima Prefecture were divided into various categories, and the range of compensation and support measures was determined for each, which caused division among residents. The Blessing Room was born to create a new community that transcends generations and backgrounds. Please take a look at our reconstruction efforts, which celebrated its 3rd anniversary in June this year.
